Mileage Log

Guide

Forgot to log a trip?

It happens to everyone. A forgotten trip can still go in the log, with what you know.

What you need

  1. The date, and where you went.
  2. The distance, or the odometer reading before and after.
  3. The reason, while you still remember it.

From the odometer

The distance is the end reading minus the start reading. If you note the odometer at the end of each workday, a forgotten trip is never lost: the readings tell the distance.

The way back

A round trip is two trips in the log. Enter the return too, with its own date if it was another day.

With Mileage Log

Add a past trip: from, to, date, and the distance or both odometer readings; the vehicle's last reading is proposed. Also log the return trip saves the way back. A trip you make often is in Frequent trips, two taps away. See Mileage log book.
