Rates and tax rules

How each trip gets its amount.

Rates per distance

In the settings, Rates per distance: Initial rates for each purpose, then Add a rate change with its date. Rate changes lists them; each trip is valued at the rate in force on its date.

Tax rules

Tax rules, from the rates screen: pick a Preset for your country, its Tax year, and Apply its rates to copy its simple rates into yours. Thresholds and tax years are applied by the rules themselves. In France, set each vehicle's Fiscal horsepower (CV).

Currency

Currency sets the symbol and decimals of amounts. Nothing is converted.
